Project Brief

SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY (college of commerce management & information science’s) – Design phase includes the main block, hostel blocks & entrance arch. Ground + two storeyed structure, has two parts – a rectangular part (houses the classrooms) & a central semi circular portion (houses the seminar hall) in attachment to the former, with a large open courtyard in between, acting as a connecting space.

Ground floor includes admin area & also acts as a semi stilt floor. The central atrium in the semi circular portion brings in the day light and lits the space inside additionally. Projected vertical fins in the facade acts as a shading device in addition to its credential to the aesthetic features.
